DESCRIPTION:Please join us for JoAnne's Pantry Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting on Friday October 15th at 11:00 AM.  \n\n\n\nThe Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs and Our Neighbors' Table contracted for State Food Insecurity Infrastructure Grant to invest in infrastructure at several of the organization's food distribution locations including Salisbury Senior Center to improve the distribution of food insecure populations. Working with Our Neighbors Table and their efforts to create universal food access Seacoast Food Providers have established unified goals and roles to ensure universal food access. Together this group is committed to supporting community based food safety. Through our partnership with Our Neighbors Table and SFP Seacoast Food providers we will open the new community market distribution site at the Salisbury Senior Center.\n\n\n\nThis market will operate similar to Our Neighbors Table offering a wide variety of food items\, and be open one to two days each week. The pantry is located within the Salisbury Senior Center and is named in memory of Joanne Skerry who has given so much and has made such a positive difference in our senior community. \n\n\n\nTo RSVP for our grand opening please email epettis@salisburyma.gov or call 978.462.2412. \n\n\n\nThe staff and volunteers of Salisbury Senior Center and Our Neighbors Table look forward to serving our community and beyond.
