ABOUT THE ARTISTS
ABOUT THOMPSON SQUARE
Everyone remembers where they were the first time they heard Thompson Square. It’s been a decade since the husband-and-wife team of Keifer and Shawna Thompson exploded out of Nashville with their multi-platinum mega-hit “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”, and crowds remain hungry for more. The Grammy-nominated duo has toured the world; won multiple ACM, ACA, CMA, and CMT awards; appeared on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, NBC’s TODAY Show, CBS This Morning as well as numerous primetime tv specials and awards shows; earned No. 1 records in three countries, and even launched their own podcast. They’ve been praised as “remarkable” by Taste of Country, “deeply personal and emotional” by Sounds Like Nashville, and “vivacious” by Rolling Stone. And now Thompson Square has come home.
ABOUT JACKSON DEAN
Fast-rising Country singer/songwriter Jackson Dean is quickly earning a reputation for his old school, gritty, lyric-driven, outlaw style of Country following a breakout year that landed him on multiple artists to watch lists. An adventurous and carefree spirit, the 22-year-old multi-instrumentalist, is also an old soul and skilled artisan who brings a sense of adventure and down home vibe to his songwriting, the “modern-day Country rambler” (Taste of Country) burst on the scene, showing people how real music can be with his atmospheric, musically-forward debut album Greenbroke (out now via Big Machine Records). The Maryland native’s single, “Don’t Come Lookin’” was the fastest debut to reach No. 1 in 2022 and cemented Jackson as the youngest solo male Country artist to reach the top of the charts with a debut. Landing spots on the Billboard Hot 100, the soundtrack for Netflix’s The Ice Road and a John Dutton scene in Yellowstone. His sophomore single, “Fearless (The Echo)” is currently climbing the Country radio charts after being Most Added upon impact. Following an early career of local performances in his hometown, Jackson has joined bills with superstar acts like Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brantley Gilbert, Kane Brown, Jake Owen, Brooks & Dunn, Lee Brice, HARDY and Brothers Osborne and found himself on the bill for credible events like Austin City Limits and Stagecoach. The young talent just kicked off the Back to the Honky Tonk Tour with Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce and will join dates with Eric Church and Parker McCollum later this year.
ABOUT SHANE PROFITT
A salt of the earth Southerner with a straight-shooting swagger and kind smile, Shane Profitt’s musical toolbox is full of all-natural talent. At the end of 2021, he was still pulling overtime at his job with the city, busting his back about an hour south of Nashville and living for the weekend. But now, the 22-year-old is rocking sold-out crowds at the historic Ryman Auditorium, touring with his chart-topping hero Chris Janson and writing modern Country tunes so genuine, they slip on like a pair of broken-in work boots. Gifted with a heavy-duty vocal, Profitt became a regular draw at the popular Southern-cooking chain, Puckett’s, traveling all over Tennessee to weekend shows while still holding down his job back home. And while that made for some long hours, it also led to inspiration for original music. Today, the emerging artist debuts his boots-on-the-ground writing style and big, barrel-chested voice with a 3-song collection MAURY COUNTY LINE, available now via BMLG Records/Harpeth 60 Records. With tracks like the hook filled honky tonker “Better Off Fishin’,” chest-thumping charmer “Guys Like Me” and his hopeful heaven-on-earth Country radio single “How It Oughta Be,” Profitt puts his life to music – along with the lives of so many others. And this is just the beginning.
ABOUT GEORGE BIRGE
Nashville songwriter-artist George Birge is charging the charts with Top 30-and-climbing, “Mind On You,” off his debut album, George Birge: Mind On You. Bobby Bones called the single one of his “Top 3 Favorite Songs” and proclaimed him a “National Spotlight Artist.” With over 30 MILLION streams across his catalog, he’s been featured by NPR All Things Considered, PEOPLE, American Songwriter, and named one of Nashville Lifestyles’ “Artists You Need To Know.” An established artist-songwriter since relocating to Nashville, TN, in 2014, the Austin, TX-native’s star power exploded with viral breakout single, “Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” and he’s written with the likes of Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox, Chris Lane, and Matt Stell. Further building a strong touring profile, he’s also supported tours for Brantley Gilbert, Jake Owen, Gary Allan, Scotty McCreery, and more.
ABOUT DALTON DOVER
Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” twenty-three-year-old Dalton Dover first started singing at church as a kid, winning his fifth-grade school talent show performing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” In that moment Dover’s love of performing was born. By the age of 16 he had picked up a guitar and started teaching himself to play, yet it was his grandfather who turned him on to country music and artists such as Keith Whitley, Rhett Akins, Joe Diffie and Steve Wariner. Enamored with the honesty and storytelling found in country music, Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” was the first song Dover taught himself to play on guitar. Performances at local bars soon followed along with sharing covers of some of his favorite songs on TikTok. It was there he caught the ear of producer Matt McV and A&R veteran and founder of Droptine Recordings, Jim Catino, who quickly signed Dover.
